What a year it's been! Exceptionally demanding and worrying at times for all of us, but at Highfield & Brookham Schools we've been reflecting on some of the positives. Here are some of our reasons to celebrate the last academic year:

Another fantastic year for scholarships to Senior Schools
Our pupils were awarded 15 senior school scholarships for art, academia, sport and drama. This continues a remarkable run of success and is a key factor in parents choosing Highfield and Brookham for their children.

Two prestigious award nominations for our Pre-Prep & Nursery
Not only shortlisted as this year’s ‘Pre-Prep of the Year’ in the Independent School Parent Awards, Our Pre-Prep, Brookham, was ranked as one of the best nurseries in South-East England by daynurseries.co.uk.

Top Hampshire Prep School for Cricket
The Cricketer Schools Guide 2021 announced their Top Prep Schools for cricket and only one prep school in Hampshire made the cut, Highfield and Brookham Schools!

Awarded the title of ‘Silver Shakespeare School’.
We are known for the breadth, as well as the excellence, of our academic provision and this award from the Coram Shakespeare Schools Foundation recognises our commitment to the performing arts.

Successful online provision
The correlation between teacher quality and pupil achievement is well known. 94% of our parents said their children were highly engaged in their online learning during the Covid closures; a real tribute to the skill and creativity of our teachers.

Excellent care for international boarders
Our parents say it best, "Thank you so much for working so hard to give the boarders great weekends. We are very grateful for what you’ve done for our kids."

With Covid, and for some Brexit too, we feel especially appreciative of our international parents and agents this year. A big thank you to all of you - we are very aware of the extra work and dedication involved in sending children to schools in England at this time.
